Reviews and Ratings <br />
I recently spent a weekend at Mountaineer Casino and while the rooms were quite nice, the overall experience was let down by a few significant issues. The dining options were fantastic, and I enjoyed some great meals, but the prevalence of cigarette smoke in the casino made it hard to fully enjoy the environment. Despite the positive aspects, the dissatisfaction with service interactions and a lack of response regarding billing issues diminish my interest in returning.
The resort had some great features like the well-maintained casino and enjoyable dining experiences, but there were significant issues with the lodge rooms. While the beds were comfortable, the outdated facilities and the overwhelming smell of smoke were major drawbacks that overshadowed the experience. Unfortunately, I don't see myself returning unless there are improvements in these areas.
While the hotel has some beautiful rooms and diverse dining options, recent visits have highlighted serious issues, particularly with cleanliness and service in certain areas. The atmosphere was frequently overshadowed by unpleasant odors and a frustrating dining experience. Nevertheless, some guests appreciated the updated appearance of the renovated rooms and various attractions nearby.
I had a weekend getaway with friends and overall, we had a great time. The outdoor space was perfect for our group, although the upkeep needed attention. The dining options were enjoyable, enhancing the experience, but the gaming area could use some improvements on cleanliness and machine variety.
The hotel has a charming vibe and the dining at LBV was absolutely incredible, a huge highlight! However, the lodge rooms left much to be desired, with outdated amenities and unpleasant odors lingering about. Service, unfortunately, could really use a boost. Overall, while the casino experience was enjoyable, the stay at the lodge might not be worth it for everyone seeking comfort.
